Good reading before heading for NAB.
Going to NAB, you may want to lets us know if your want
to see solutions in producing in 3D (post related and
Transport). But besides the heads up, if you happen to
be in the MGM Grand during your stay, SONY and CBS have
installed a test center for 3D Television viewership.
Though you'll see 3D on the floor at NAB, sometimes it's
nice to hear want the general public has to so say.
Technically we are supposed to follow the bucks, best we
listen. Full article on the test site.

Incospec plays a major role at Tour Tech’s "All Access 2010 Show"
in Halifax
Part of the first stop of the “Content to its Distribution Tour” , Halifax got a taste of both broadcast related subjects and an overview of technologies which have trickled down to the general communications industries.

Besides coordinating the seminar section of the show, with a total of 28 seminars, Incospec was instrumental in the staging of half the seminars with product specialist covering subjects from IPTV, Stereoscopic TV, Reference monitors, Live streaming, Multiformat files workflows, Audio over IP, Digital signage, working with mobile HD trucks for live events, Advanced compression solutions, DTV transmission and much more. Besides the complications of snow storm on the Friday, it was a record attendance for this year’s event. Many thanks go out to our partners: Digital Rapids, Musicam USA, Axcera, Nevion, Quantel, Caissie Images, Tamuz, GVG and everyone at Tour Tech East.

Incospec's Jean-François Richard
participates in the 9th running of Eastern North America's biggest fundraising ski event:
the 24h Tremblant!

Not only did the 189 teams raise over $ 1.5 million to help sick and underprivileged kids, Jean-François’s team members came in 19th in the over all race. Downhill skiing on Tremblant’s hills (about an hour and a half north of Montreal) in the middle of the night at -24 celcius (besides the wind chill factor) is a feat in itself, but as a team, pulling it off for 24 hours straight is a great personal victory. All to raise funds for a good cause.
Bravo JF. |

Some of the operators are now considering upgrading their
test equipment for DOCSIS 3.0 compliance.
